Valuation
All applications to the European School Music Prize are evaluated by a specialized Jury. This panel will examine the submissions, which consist of a 5-minute video documentation and an application form, and determine the prize winners.
The following precisely defined principles serve as evaluation basis for the Jury, and should be clearly visible in the submitted video documentations:
- Active music making using music instruments should be used to strengthen motivation, independent work, self-responsibility and team skills.
- All pupils should be involved in the process.
- The pupils' learning process should be discernible from the documentation.
- Innovative ideas, concepts or methods should be shown which can be transferred to other classes or courses.
